Affordable Health Care

As the cost of health care rises, many people in need of basic treatment share concerns regarding affordable coverage.  Remember the days when you could get affordable health care from your employers and nobody checked for preexisting conditions?  Those days are tougher and tougher to find.

I created this site and this particular section to focus specifically on affordable health care.  I have received emails from many people regarding their concerns for basic health care coverage.  I am working on a gathering list of medical clinics throughout the United States willing to offer medical checkups for low or no income families. 

Medical clinics exist but are tough to find.  As lawsuits increase, so does the medical professions malpractice insurance.  The increase in malpractice insurance has a direct impact on the doctors’ willingness to offer affordable health care.  This is unfortunate and adversely impacts the general public in need of medical care.

So, you do not have any medical insurance and loose sleep at night knowing you are not covered.  What can you do?  Stay tuned to this site and more specifically, this section.  For all the people who have followed my dental site (www.GetFreeDental.com), you know my passion to help those in need.  My focus is now two-fold … finding free dental and affordable health care.

I suspect you found my site because you need affordable health today.  Where can you go while I am working to assemble and refine my clinic listing?  I have a few suggestions:

  • Check with local social services.  Every major city should have a contact for social services.  This would be a good place to start.  Let them know your situation.

  • Check with local churches.  Yes, local churches.  This is a great source for information of free clinics.  Many churches will sponsor affordable health care events.  The doctors are typically local volunteers who realize there is more to life than money.

  • Check with local universities.  You might be surprised to know medical students will conduct internships at local hospitals.

I have first hand experience to know free affordable health care exists.  Like most people, I have personal experience with costly health care but I will save that for another day.  In the meantime, please know that I am committed to building this site for one purpose … to find affordable health care for people in need!  This may take a few months, but I will make it happen.  Look for a list of free affordable health care clinics soon.
